From the Granting Policy: "Preference will be given to projects which address themselves to:
a) Innovation that strengthens the community’s capacity to care for itself b) Collaboration and cooperation within and across sectors c) Prevention as a response to challenges d) Testing new ways of providing services e) Promotion of volunteer participation and citizen involvement f) Building community strength through diversity g) Building community through a focus on the strengths and assets of individuals and groups"
